B1/B2 Rejected 214(b)

I had recently applied for my B1/B2 visa to the US.
Following was the conversation we had during the interview. The interviewer was a lady.

Interviewer: Good morning
Me: Good morning

Interviewer: What is the name of the company.
Me: I said XXX.

Interviewer: What is the purpose of your travel?
Me: Told the purpose as Business meeting as it was written on my invitation letter.

Interviewer: Are you going to a client location?
Me: No.

Interviewer: Have you been to US before?
Me: No

Interviewer: Have you been to any other country before?
Me: No.

Interviewer: Why have they selected you for the meeting?
Me: Explained the details about the project. My role.

She said your visa has been rejected and handed me a form 214(b) along with my passport.
